Keith P. Johnson

Keith P. Johnson, M.D. is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and is board certified and fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine with a specialty in Emergency Medicine-Sports Medicine. Well versed in orthopedic surgery, arthroscopy, open-spine surgical techniques and endoscopic surgical procedures, Dr. Johnson has performed minimally invasive endoscopic spine procedures under the training and mentorship of Dr. Bryan J. Massoud.

Dr. Johnson is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, completed his general surgery internship at Washington Hospital in Washington, D.C. and his residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He then went on to fulfill Fellowship training in Sports Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Johnson performs minimally invasive spine procedures using endoscopic techniques for treatment of spinal disorders including disc herniations, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis and failed back surgery syndrome.

Dr. Johnson is a member of with the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) and the American Orthopaedic Society’s Sports Medicine subspecialty. He received multiple awards for outstanding achievements during his residency with Howard University Hospital and is a published co-author and researcher on multiple topics pertaining to orthopaedic morphology and arthroscopic surgery.
